I use certain instruments such as a bass (upright/electric), guitar (acoustic/electric), cz-3000, Akai MPK Mini, sp-404, Novation Launchpad and a lap top complete with a tape deck.

Non-instruments include: tea cups, soda cans, desk chairs, water faucets, bags, crappy child instruments, doors and just about anything that makes a cool sound.
