...What is a Twobob? "Toubab" is a Central and West African name for a person of European descent ("whites"). Depending on which you wish to believe .. the name Toubab has many suggested derivations,amongst which are: A corruption of the Arab word "Tabib" meaning doctor, or "Toub" in the Wolof language, "Tubi" in Mandinka .. meaning 'to convert' .. as the early doctors and missionaries during colonial times, were whites coming from Europe. Either way I'm a white fella named by blacks, back in the day.

For over twenty years I've have been making tunes, either in studios, sweaty illegal clubs or respectable dry ones, even in the woods... ;)

I released the official “Move” remix as Twobob which featured a host of famous names from acts including the Style Council, Galliano, Zero 7, The Dandy warhols, Primal scream and more. I have danced with the devil and can confirm he is a Guinness T-shirt wearer, and a great dancer.

A few years ago I began work on a new space of projects, including collaborations with a wide variety of artists resulting in the release of Tech House projects via BRM Electro, Jambalay Records and some other independent labels.

Currently putting out edgy tracks with featured vocalists to make your head nod, toe tap, foot stamp or lungs blaze. If nothing else... my tracks should make you think.

Most of the tracks can be heard via Last.FM and Soundcloud.com or Juno, Amazon, Beatport etc...
