@Rod Crosby: Wow, thanks for the kind words and the great history lesson. We're so stoked you liked our version. It's an infectious song. So perfect. We couldn't get it out of heads, so we had to record it. Sorry i didn't write back sooner. I don't log into Soundcloud that often. We played in EL Paso a few years back on our way back from Austin/SXSW. Played a little cafe called the Percolator... Anyway, thanks for taking the time to write to us.
Cheers and "Long Live The Bobby Fuller Four!"
      John

      Hi Caitlin, Aurielle, & Johnny:

Rod Crosby here in El Paso, Texas, home of The Bobby Fuller Four. In the early 60's, my band, Rod Crosby & The Intruders, played during the same time frame in EP as Bobby & the Four, till they moved to Hollywood. Bobby even asked me to play in his band, but I reluctantly declined out of loyalty to my own band. You can Google the aforementioned names to know find out who I am.
Your version of "Let Her Dance? Excellent! Bobby would be enthralled, and I know his brother, Randy will be, because I am going to forward your recording on to him, as he co-wrote that song with Bobby when it was first known as "Keep On Dancing", which then evolved into their masterpiece, "Let Her Dance".
I have never heard it played at that tempo before, so it was a real treat to hear it done so well and so clear, where you all captured the essence of the trance-like effect this jewel has on people when they hear it.
I guess you know it was selected as part of the soundtrack for the recently released animated movie, "The Fantastic Mr. Fox".
To this day, I play it and several other BF4 tunes, "I Fought The Law", etc., in my band, which has been around since 1960, for over 50 years now.
Keep it up, and good luck in any, and everything you do musically! You are definitely on the right track!

" Long Live The Bobby Fuller Four ! "

      Yours Truly,
