Architect Tuomas Toivonen’s professional career as an artist, performer, DJ and journalist spans over a decade of constant activity and output. Whether composing urban anthems with Giant Robot, hosting radio talk shows on planning and politics at Radio Helsinki, or giving musical lectures in art galleries, his work investigates the communication potential of music and voice. The lyrics are compact observations and analyses, and read like spoken diagrams, narrative perspectives, or musical manifestos.
