Since starting out as a resident at New York City's legendary Konkrete Jungle events in the mid nineties, Tuffist has established himself as an integral part of the international bass music community.
A sought after selector and producer, Tuffist has toured extensively and has released music on various vinyl and digital imprints. His most recent releases have received support from top dj's around the globe including Kiss Fm's DJ Hype and Rebel MC (a.k.a Congo Natty).
Tuffist also forms one third of Chopstick Dubplate (alongside Jacky Murda and Aries), a well respected international Ragga-Jungle sound and record label.

In 2013 Tuffist is focussed on branching out, with new collaborations and experimentation with diverse styles. Watch out for new music from Tuffist and Chopstick Dubplate on Highculture, Yard Rock, Powa Cuts, Roots Recordings, Dirty Dubsters, Congo Natty, and of course, Chopstick Dubplate!
