HELLO MY NAME IS TRVPINSTEIN PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS DJJINKI. I HAVE BEEN DJING FOR OVER 14 YEARS AND 12 OF THOSE YEARS ON A SEMI PRO LEVEL/ THEN ALSO PRODUCING MUSIC FOR ABOUT SEVEN YEARS AS WELL.

Basically how this all came to start was in the year of 2000 when i was 14 years old playing basket ball in my neiborhood. i heard this dj scratching and the sound of it just caught me on a

different level i really cant explain it. it was just one of those things that i knew it was my calling. as a 14 year old kid i picked a expensive hobby let me tell ya. like in my house hold we where

middle class. so a little bit after doing some research this is the time where in indianapolis,in they built a guitar center. where i practily lived at other kids had fun with friends and going out to

movies and ect, me in the other hand i did homework and lived at guitar center. I mean it was so bad that the workers at guitar center new me by needle breaker. i mean everyday for about 2 years

straight i mean very day for about 5-8 hours a day i would practice with old records trying to scratch until i meet this dude named soundvictim he showed me the style of real turntablism. at this

time also i proved to my mom that this wasnt a hobby that i would just quit this was a passion i had like micheal jordan to a basketball like tiger woods to a golf club. so she had bought me my

first set of turntables some "belt drives" and a stanton mixer and i thought i was in business. now in the bio this is the part where you laugh "like belt drives really" yes really. about 3 months

after having my very first set of turntables i enter the guitar center dj battle in 2001-2002 at the time. then guess what guys i was horrible i mean shaking the whole works. im talking about a 14-15

year old scared because everyone else was like 23 plus years old. but then again i got so much gratitude because i was a young uprising dj that had the guts to dj in a real battle. shortly after

the battle i got to know this dj by the name of dj topspeed. which is indianapolis top battle dj that took me into his wings and turned me into a sniper in a sense. so about a year of practicing with

this dj it was time for round 2 in the guitar center battle, i mean when i say practice we practice. every weekend i would call him everyday to ask about techniques and tips."how do you do this how

you do that". now at the second battle i still had that nervous feeling because i havent broken out of djing in front of people yet. so many people though it was going to be a repeat of the year before

im talking about dj's that was talking about me last year i showed them up badly i mean badly i turned around and got second place being held the title in indianapolis as the youngest in charge. i

never felt so happy in my life and my mom o my gosh so happy. she realized all that money putting into it and dedication that i had for the love of djing paid off. so then she bought me my very first

set of direct drive statons with another stanton mixer that had a curve adjustment i was in business. so at this time its about from 2002-2004 this is when i rain supremecy in indianapolis end up

winning guitar center battle 2x in a row numerous of dj battles through the city. so at the age between 16-17 years old was the beginning of a really special moment in my life, i got to travel go

record shopping in places that i never imagine from chi town to newyork. did i mention i started to dj clubs as a performer. i still remember to this day being in high school and having friends going on

spring break and they ask me what did you do and i tell them i dj on spring break. then they be like how your young how did you get into clubs, then also on finals in highschool there be times where

ive stayed up all night because i would dj then have to go to school. i know its funny but its very true. like seriously i had more venues than many dj with more years under the belt than me and i

wasn't even 21 years old yet.so im about 18 years old now djing from top 40-hiphop-dance music. i start to get into producing you know everyone's favorite program fuity loops. haha i know you have to

be laughing know. im talking about going to good will stores book stores just to find breaks with my good freind topspeed and chopping up samples you know good life of production. years has past and

i was doing ok but kind of was getting boring for me because i wanted more in dj and producing. so at this time its between 2007-2013 as of right now i really got into alot of edm music especially

the new genre called "trapstyle". so this is what i decieded to do is take a different apporoach at music, i changed my name to trvpinstein it fit you know. and it mean something to me all over again

as if i had started djing for the first time again. this music is just one of those specail fellings to me. you think it might be strange but it made me feel like i was 14 again. that this new style of

music excites me this much. so now you know about dj jinki aka trvpinstein. i dj i produce that real trap edm music. but still come from a turntablism background. well i will leave off on this note,

things happen for a reason i never been a man that would preach but the man upstairs puts you on this planet for a cause and i found mines and that is music now go and find yours because life is

short and you only die once.
