LA based producer, Samo Sound Boy is part of the next generation of young and emerging new artists coming out of the US producing a fresh and lively club sound. Samo’s First release was out on Palms Out Sounds last year and has since taken the world by storm. Samo is sharpening his craft creating a genre of club music mixing the sounds of old Chicago house, hip hop, RnB and club rave.
The lead track to the EP, Rattlesnake has been in heavy rotation for the T&B Crew for a while before they realized this was an unreleased track. This club stomper mixes latin rhythms and reverberated rave stabs, perfect when you’re ready to take the crowd into the dance.
The B Side Burning and Stealing is a slow burner with soca drumming that gets lifted up into 4x4 with some heavy horns. This EP is both catchy and full of flavor. Another great installment to the Heavy Bass Champs series.
