im from Indonesia.the dance scene in here was still dominated by trance and electro. So its pretty hard to find any djs who playin funk,balearic, or leftfield music here.but theres some local djs like Dj Hogi,Dj Dipha,and Anton Wirjono which is sometimes playin that kind of music(big respect for them).Since the early 2008 theres some clubs and also big event (that performed by Rub N Tug, Todd Terje, and The Glimmers) playin in that genre here in Indonesia,even if the crowds wasnt as much as the other genres but its start to growin up more.And now im keep tryin and practicing to do my best set in order to keep that dance scene alive (eventhough i listen up to the other genres like electro,dnb,break beat,and minimal too).
