About
Trip the Light is the musical moniker of San Antonio/Austin native Anthony Burchell. TTL incorporates an array of classic synthesizers, drum machines, cassette decks, and pre 16bit video game consoles.
Much of Trip the Light is built from the reincarnated sounds of Commodore 64′s and various other vintage electronics.
TTL gained quick momentum breaking through the San Antonio music scene. TTL’s debut album “Fantasic EP” was released through Austin based netlabel: Aleph9. The Fantastic EP gained fast attention and was much of he reason TTL was voted Best Electronic Artist in San Antonio by The San Antonio Current’s Music Awards for 2012.
