The horns of hell, melting with the voice of an innocent angel. Captured in devil's empire, naked skin, bloody bruises and white silk. Pain and desire, hellfire and heavenly creatures. Take a bite of panic, pathos, porno.
The genre of this extended play by Township Rebellion is difficult to define, after all the distance between genius and insanity is known to be a very tiny one. These boys mix Deep House and Electro as masterly as Walter White the Pseudoephedrin with the red phosphorus. Blue emotional harmonies, alternating dance floor bombs prime the wide ranges of application of this record which is to be enjoyed during the day on the beach as well as in the club. While "Blue Meth" attains his uniqueness by the nearly hundred percent cleanness and colour, the Township Rebellion sound reaches for singularity with the distinctive rhythmical teamwork of the vocal cutties and synthies. His bombastic, partly electronically distorted basses, the exhibitionist heights, and minimalist yet forceful drum sections dance in brain and hips. Long, deliberately placed breaks provide a pleasant restraint. Consciously briefly held tension curves increase the number of the drops whose shortness, nevertheless, on no account has influence on their power.
