Description for Lemon Reel...

Thinking about applying to host a show on CFCR. This is part of my demo I have been working on for the past few weeks.

Description for !! Too Many Feathers !!...

So I grabbed a sweet lime and hopped a train into the deep dark psychedelic jazz wanderings of my mind and this is what it sounded like.
I recorded this just over 50 minute set LIVE in one take during January 2011 and didn't use any computer editing or trickery.
I used only my good old vinyl and a mixer that I feared may crap out at any moment.
This is probably my best and most coherent mix in a very long time and it's also very different from anything I've ever put together before.
At about 21 minutes you should imagine yourself in the Bessborough Gardens... I know that's where I was!
This is my official application to be an artist included in the 2011 SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival in Saskatoon.
