tony's career has led him down many paths, allowing him to play many roles in chicago's underground dance music industry. he has been an integral part of several promotions companies and has performed his distinctive techno grooves at numerous events, from large raves to main rooms at major clubs. besides djing and promoting, tony also collaboratively ran chicago's waxaddict records. as the store's main techno buyer, tony wax able to push the boundaries of underground dance culture through hand-picking a wide range of unique tracks. tony's rare ability to find beauty and strength where others see only decay resonates naturally within his music.
being billed alongside internationally respected djs and producers such as alexi delano, the advent, bryan zentz, adam marshall, samuel l session, joris voorn, mike dearborn, cari lekebusch, traxx, cajmere, gene hunt, adam beyer, joel mull, lester fitzpatrick, mark verbos, terry mullan, frankie bones, and headroom has provided tony with up-front exposure to the highest caliber of electronic wizardry and the necessary chance to showcase his proven musical ability to large audiences. with his desire to reach out to committed techno fans, tony has traveled throughout the united states spinning shows from chicago to los angeles and also turning the tables at festivals like miami's winter music conference and detroit's movement festivals.
