A lifelong hockey devotee, Tony Brown's passion for sports and broadcasting have taken him from the permafrost of Vermont and the knee-deep drifts of central New York to the scorched earth of west Texas and the sun-baked plains of eastern Nebraska.
A 2010 graduate of the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Brown's hockey roots stretch deep into the soil of his native Minnesota, the undisputed "State of Hockey".
Following a two-year stint as the voice of the NAHL's Odessa Jackalopes, Brown currently serves as Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League and is in the midst of his first season as the team's radio play-by-play voice. Brown also coordinates all team television, radio and print advertising, handles all organizational media relations, keys all team social media initiatives, performs all website maintenance and design projects and serves as the director of corporate partnerships and fulfillment.
