TONÉ (BASICS – Bucuresti, RO)

Toné is one of the well-known names on the urban electronic music scene in Romania. Hailing from Bucharest, with a 10 years background as an UK Garage / 2-Step, Good Looking Records Drum&Bass and early-days Dubstep listener, he is a DJ since 2007 and his main dishes at the moment are fresh, fusioned, across the board House, Techno, UK Funky, UK Garage, Future Garage and Experimental, in a 120-140 bpm range. Mostly what acclaimed critics like to call Post-Dubstep.

He played alongside headliners and local DJs: Ikonika, Ben Ufo, Loefah, Sgt. Pokes, Caspa, Tes La Rok, Benga, Virus Syndicate, Tomb Crew, Aquasky, Jazzsteppa, Whistla, Al-Haca Soundsystem, Ikkaku, Cosmin TRG, Alien Pimp, Seb, Tomasan, Aeromaschine, Mesmer, Dragos Rusu, Alexandru Jijian and many others. He organised events in Bucharest for Dubstep.ro and Hey! Events and he is at the moment running a regular niche music clubnight – BASICS – in Bucharest.
