Tom has been DJing and collecting records for the past 16 years. Starting out in Calgary, his passion and love of music took him to London, England where he worked as a full time DJ for 7 years in many of London's high end hotels such as The Dorchster, St Martins Lane, The Zetter and The Trafalgar Hilton. Tom also held residencies in top restaurants such as Hakkasan (Hanway Place), Nobu Berkley Square, W'Sens, Mint Leaf. Tom also played a number of small clubs and bars such at Paradise on Kensal Green, The Westbury, Barrio North, Bedroom Bar, and Doon.
Tom's passion for music has led to gigs and music buying trips around the world from West Africa (Mali, Ghana, Burkina Faso), China (Club P 2008 Olympics), Supper Club (Amsterdam), Paris, Berlin, Stockholm, Sydney, South Africa, Istanbul, NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago and beyond.
Depending on the night and venue, you can expect to hear anything from funk, soul, jazz, blues, disco, reggae, hip hop, r&b, latin, brazilian, and afro beats, downtempo, funk breaks, house (lounge, soulful, deep, ethnic), nu disco, disco edits, world music.
Tom returned to Calgary in 2010 and has since played at The Bungalow, Local 522, on rotation at Market Collective, one off gigs at The Epcor Centre, and creates the play lists at Laurier Lounge.
