@Louie Kay.: It's Icarus Lives! by Periphery.
The day you don't groove will be a dark day indeed.
@Plini: That would explain it.
Hear Versed influence, maybe?
@Sean Beeson: Here's to hoping for it someday, then!
An unlikely thing, but someday it would be terrific for you to video document how you go through your ideas and how they evolve as you're working on them. I, for one, would find it incredibly interesting.
You were right this mix sounds better than Air Atlantic. So much better!
@zacharyhuff: Did you play the acoustic parts yourself or did you program? If played, what did you record with? They sound great!
More of this stuff, please.
You ridiculous son of a bitch....
It's been too long, duder.
@RobbieTheDarling: You're replying to me on that one, dude.
I'll be honest, these sound completely different from how I interpreted them within the songs themselves.
You need to more with this heavy layering style. Sounds great.
Was wondering if it would be without this signature bit here.
Been waiting to hear this part since the teaser.
Jesus, how long does it take you to compose all of this?
The grooves you come up with...
@ashcook123: Nice contribution.
Pretty legit, man.
Something here reminds me of the old Sim Cities. This is great.
SD or a sample? That's huge.
This is brilliant, I can't wait till you make it big.
I forgot to ask, where did you manage to get this from? I need to know for reasons.
@benreaves: Yep, after hearing them I would have to agree with you. If I could, I'd probably buy them right now.
Do you think it was worth the $1k?
Not what I was expecting at all. Sounds great.
If only I had half your prowess with this program..
@shield-and-sun: Awesome, man, thanks! It's inspiring to hear what you're doing in Massive. I have it, but I've never really taken the time to really achieve the level of proficiency you obviously have in it. Thanks again for the response and info.
@shield-and-sun: I can't seem to think of another way to describe it, really. It begins at the 'drop' and ascends. If I can think of another way to describe it I'll let you know!
I've followed you since you posted The Ithaca Journey on SSO, and I'm just wondering if you could tell me what you do to get these little 'squelchy' sounds in your music. The song you posted with Carl Sagan utilized a fair amount of them as well. The really fit what you do.
@PeteyG: That's what I was getting at, really. It's such a rarity these days with so many simplistic riffs out there that one actually manages to stand out, let alone do a song justice. Well done.
This is the simplest riff ever, but it's so sick.
Plini, you fuck. Share your skill.
