View all8/24/10 - Another mix... changed a lot of things. Tightened up horn parts. I have always liked this song and the little mistakes were bugging me. Please tell me what you think. Better? Worse?

love the horns- maybe tighten up the parts a bit/ add some vinyl scratchiness to them? other than that this is a great track!

this part has a street band feel to it, I can see the old musicians sitting on the street and blowing their old instruments for fun and for some money

hey, cool track . . I think the horns could do with a bit of light chorus (rather than reverb) on them to Phatten them up a touch both sonically and spatially without affecting the decay of them. . . just my two bits worth.

@soundcloud.com/SteveChab: yes... but this is what makes it sound whimsical... that the horn's *aren't* dull... but i know what you mean :-)

@titusandtheraindrops: i think the horns would sound good if they were dulled some. muddy them up with some verb and roll off the highs maybe?

@Maetell: Agreed. I tried but could not get the reverb to sound right... I'll try again. I like the sax w/o reverb though. Do you?

You can try to put a light reverb on the trumpet, sound will be more spacial
