Tim Robert is a New York City-based musician whose great love of music has led him from rock songwriting & performance to EDM production and DJing. After touring and recording with rock bands and writing music for theater and film, Tim discovered dance music through NYC clubbing. Thrilled by the power, energy and musical adventurousness of progressive house and trance, Tim began studying EDM production and started DJing live.

In late 2010, Mistique Music included on their VA004 Album Tim's debut original track "Panodrama", which Release Promo DJ Pool called "the gem" of the compilation. In 2012, LuPS Records released Tim's original track "Launch Angle" and two remixes by Tim. This past March, Tim's remix of Loquai's "Back Home" was released on Jetlag Digital and was included on Beatport's "10 Must Hear Progressive House Tracks" list. Summer 2013 will see the release of more tracks and remixes by Tim on Jetlag Digital and LuPS Records.

As a live DJ, Tim has appeared at venues such as Love, the Open House basement, the Pacha basement and the Red Velvet Lounge. His style ranges from darkly hypnotic to intensely grooving, and is firmly focused on moving the dance floor. Tim also hosts the monthly internet radio show "Headlands", which airs on Pure.FM Progressive Channel, and is available as a podcast on iTunes and Podbean.
