More sets by Tim Wolff (1)
Amsterdam's Tim Wolff returns to EevoNext Recordings with the EP Señor
Swanky.
As with his debut Sostenuto EP (also on EevoNext) a variety of
styles is on offer. The title track sports a smooth trumpet solo set to
a relentless bass line, resulting in a jazzy, swaying deephouse cut.
It
is followed by God Bless You Detroit, a hypnotic deeptechno affair that
has dubby delayed synths circling a melancholic vocal sample.
On Does
That Count, the third track, a young woman's voice, reminiscent of The
Orbs Little Fluffy Clouds, lingers over lush organ chords and a vintage
plucked bass.
Last but not least comes EevoNext big wig Estroe's remix
of Señor Swanky, who turns it into a thumping, tight techno tune.
