Tilt-Recordings is a vinyl + digital label for technoid Drum & Bass.
since TILT003 in late 2005, there has been a more specific musical goal for the vinyl releases: to combine percussive Techno-DNB and midrange-driven Neurofunk on every record, one style at each side and every tune a DJ tool for the dancefloor.
in 2008 an additional series of digital only releases (T-Files) was started, with a smimilar musical focus as the vinyl releases but more flexible and open to guest artists.
since 2005 there is also the sisterlabel "T-FREE"; a free mp3 netlabel, again with a similar musical approach but much more open and flexible.
Tilt-Recordings is based in Mannheim, Germany. it had originally been started by DJ Hektik, Bad Boy Kaiza and Budoka in 2003; after a transition period of two years, the label has practically been maintained by DJ Hektik alone since late 2005.
