Interdikt is Dwayne Sodahberk's fifth album and is maybe itself the reason it might be the last, because it finally made Mr Söderberg start a band to be able to play the songs live. Those live versions turned out very different from the album and formed the basis for something new. But that's another story.

This album, recorded mostly at the same time as last years "Fjärilsfalu"-LP on Kning Disk, is certainly the loudest Sodahberk creation yet . Walls of severly distorted guitars ride percussive storms, battling sharp splinters of noise. It's sometimes primitive, sometimes precise.

It's dark, often fast and violent, and, with the exception for a few breathing holes, more or less drenched in distortion. Imagine Bardo Pond at double speed or Lee Ranaldo playing in an obscure metal band.

Strangely enough the melodies and popsongs are as present, if not even stronger than on the 2006 album "Cut Open". Although it might be up to what your ears are used to to apprehend it.
