About

Tibetan Sky is a London based post-rock band formed in 2011. Influenced by many artists from within western alternative rock, metal, hardcore and progressive rock music as well as eastern nomadic singing originating from Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and Mongolia. The name Tibetan Sky is inspired by the book 'Tibetan Book of Living and Dying' which describes the Buddhist concept of the sky like nature of the mind called Rigpa. Within which there is no suffering or the causes of suffering, within ones own mind. The sound is geared for healing, uplifting and abandoning the neurotic mental state that leads to suffering.

New studio track 'Good News' released on Monday 14th July 2014.

@forgethowtodie: thank you. we are going to be releasing an EP soon, these are just rough demos. We are working with a real Tibetan singer at the moment and it will sound 10 times better than this.
