No disrespect felt. I just felt like it had to be said. Your insights have been incredibly helpful to me :) Keep on keeping on :)

@Benjamin Dangerous: Hey Benjamin, no disrespect was intended... in fact, I totally respect those guys. Hard frickin' workers who've done it all on their own, their own way. Kudos to them! All I'm saying is... their music just doesn't "connect" with me. I guess I'm the odd man out on this one, but I just don't find it as awesome as everyone else. But then again, I'm the same guy that thinks White Stripes are over-rated as well. It's a taste thing I guess, that's all.

@Brian Thompson Podcasts: For the record, they've gone from recording their albums in abandoned buildings and their basement for 0 money to winning multiple grammies for their album brothers. They are the epitome of DIY :)

@Warunki Media: Perfect, thanks for the feedback man. I think I'll just keep on doing what I'm doing then, which is usually around the 12min. mark....

@Warunki Media: It turns out the decision was their management's, as was later revealed this morning here: http://j.mp/tBTeyT

PS. Regarding your question of 10min VS 15min podcast, I'd say keep it between 10 and 15. That's a perfect length for an informative podcast IMO. You wouldn't be able to keep it down to 10mins, you know it. Haha. 15+ might get too long for the ADD generation, but the cool thing is your Friday podcasts can be bit more lengthy and in-depth (which they are, if I'm not mistaking). Kudos!

Totally agree with you about The Black Keys. They win my award for most over rated band of the year. But was the choice not to be steamed theirs OR their label's??
