Business school, hedge fund start-ups and working on an investment bank could resume Thomas Lamachia's profile but make no mistake. As he says himself: "music has always been my getaway...and it became a passion". Trying to ping-pong the exact moment when djing makes its way into his life happened probably when a good friend from college showed his dj gear and played records from Masters at Work. The friend is still around and the electronic music relationship is bigger than ever.

2010 marked the start of his performances in Sao Paulo, his hometown. A year has passed and he managed cut his way into important clubs of local house scene. Currently he’s part of the dj casting of one of the best house nights in Sao Paulo, Moving, at renowned club D-Edge, having played next to artists like Phonique, Mendo, Juan Diaz, Jojo Flores.

Influences of house, deep and techno shape the Brazilian’s set, combining old with new. “I like the idea of long sets because you can navigate through styles, bring music that stands out from the masses and create a significant experience with the audience, making them curious for more.”
