Thief Thief is two people pretending that they are three. The Boston Phoenix described it as "a slightly more even-keeled Marnie Stern or Hella."
They live in two cities, Boston and NYC, but pretend that they live in one city.
Jeff Johnson plays guitar with two amps and zero looping pedals. Colin Snyder plays drums with two hands and two feet.
They've recorded one full length album, titled Coffee Palm, in 2010 at Machines With Magnets of Pawtucket, RI.
