THE TRIXX BIOGRAPHY

The Trixx are young Croatian producer duo – DJ GiGo & DJ Jake. Both very young, they started production end of 2007 and till today made few well-supported tracks and remixes. They met each other on Freemasons party in beginning of year 2007, and soon they discovered their common passion to music and production as such.

The Trixx first single is track called “Something New”, made in earlz 2008, but remains unreleased. Their first remix was made for Croatian DJ Superstar Fresh Jay´s Remix Competition, and it won second place. The track is called “U Want Me”, and after that remix it was clear that the project is on the way to became something great. Second remix they made was a beginning of great cooperation with famous vocalist Inusa Dawuda. The Track “High Spirit” with The Trixx remix was the first Trixx official release, signed for label Kingdom of Music in june 2008. Following up was another remix competition in which The Trixx remixed big Ian Carey´s hit “Keep on Rising”. Summer 2008 was also very busy. The Trixx produced two great bootleg remixes, one for 2000 Madison Avenue track “Who the hell are you”, and the other for 1992 hip hop classic – Kriss Kross “Jump”. This one gets great support all over, and although it was supposed to be released including Hot Jay vs Cash remix, it remains unreleased because of the copyright issue.

New year started great for The Trixx project. They signed another collaboration with Inusa Dawuda on the track called “My life is a party”, which was The Trixx first own track released after WMC that year. At the same time, their remix for Hot Jay vs Cash track ˝Only Love˝ was supported by some of the hottest names from the club scene, such as Jerry Ropero, Tristan Garner & Michi Lange, and it was played on world famous DJ Radio – FG DJ Radio in Paris. Very hot track and very huge support just confirmed high quality production and hard work. The track also found its place on the hottest Croatian club compilation – Papaya Day & Night 2009. Summer 2009 delivered another classic bootleg, this time guys decided to get their hands over 2000 Planet Funk track “Chase the sun”. They were also offered to remix two legendary names – Jerry Ropero for his track “The real thing” and D.O.N.S. for his track “Somebody elses guy”, which they did, but both tracks remains unreleased. End of the year bring their last remix competition work, it was for Funkermans track Automatic, after which guys decided to reconstruct their studio.

Following year, 2010, was a bit quiet, with only one remix signed. It was a remix for Mark Trophy and Sonny Wharton – Discotech, released on Blacksoul Music label. After making some serious changes in their studio, they delivered new track in time for WMC 2011. The track is called “Tribe”, and it was released on BSMB Miami Sampler. Altough there wasn’t much of their production in the past two years, guys were locked up in the studio and currently have lot of surprises for the following weeks. To reveal just the few, their new tracks will be “Electrified” with the great vocals from Fabal, who seng house classic track “Sombrita” by Wawa in 2007. The track will contain remix by Kama Qu, great Dutch producer already supported by lot of big names and signed for labels such as Spinnin and Sneakerz Music. Another Trixx track coming up soon is “Cosmos”, exciting funky track including the remix from another great Croatian DJ and producer Kosta Radman. They also signed their “Meta” track for Ikanos Records, with the remix from Hot Jay vs Cash, and to keep you busy, they upload a new bootleg pack each month this year with few great bootlegs and mashups in it. As you can see, there will be a lot more Trixx production in the following weeks, so get ready for the hot summer of 2012.
