THE TRIXX BIOGRAPHY

The Trixx are young Croatian producer duo – DJ GiGo & DJ Jake. Both very young, started production end of 2007 and already have few smash remixes playlisted all around. They met each other on Freemasons party in beginning of year 2007, and soon they discovered their passion to music and production as such. Summer was wicked, they developed their friendship and it was all clear – they must start production immediately.

DJ GiGo started his DJ career on Croatian Radio DJ, he had his 6 hours mixing show in one of the prime times – Friday night from midnight to 6 a.m. He played in around 30 clubs around Croatia, went to a summer tour as official Ballantines DJ, and today is official VW DJ and plays on their parties twice a year. He made few mashups with very good feedbacks, but none serious production before joining to The Trixx.

DJ Jake is younger part of The Trixx, mostly known with his great bootleg Dare to Say it Right played in two hottest radio shows in this area as well as in many europan clubs and radio stations. He also played in some Croatian clubs as a DJ.

The Trixx first single is ´Something New´ and it wasnt released. Their first remix was made for Croatian DJ Superstar Fresh Jay´s Remix Competition, and it won second place. The track is called ´U Want Me´. Second remix they made was a beginning of great cooperation with famous vocalist Inusa Dawuda. The Track ´High Spirit´ is just a first remix of many which Inusa have in plan for this young Croatian duo. The Trixx also remixed big Ian Carey´s hit ´Keep on Rising´ for his remix competition, and currently they have few remixes and tracks in progress. They made great bootleg from big Kriss Kross 1992 hip hop classic ˝Jump˝. The track was also remixed by Hot Jay vs Cash, but it remains as a promo because of stolen sample used in the break. Their remix for Hot Jay vs Cash track ˝Only Love˝ is supported by some of the hottest names from the club scene at the moment, such as Jerry Ropero, Tristan Garner & Michi Lange, and it was played on world famous DJ Radio – FG DJ Radio in Paris. Very hot track and very huge support just confirms high quality production. The track also found its place on the hottest Croatian club compilation – Papaya Day & Night 2009. The Trixx first released track is called ˝My Life a Party˝ with vocals of Inusa Dawuda who seng some of the hottest tracks last few years. Release contains 6 version including Hot Jay vs Cash & Magnetix Project Mixes. Last summer was wicked for The Trixx. They made great bootleg of Planet Funk´s classic ˝Chase the Sun˝ and remixed one of the forthcoming tracks for legendary Jerry Ropero, and they had great gig on Exit House Fest along with Syke´n´Sugarstarr & D.O.N.S. Now when the summer is passed, Trixx spend more time in studio. Currently they finished remix for D.O.N.S. track ˝Somebody Else´s Guy˝ which should be released soon. They also finished remix for Funkerman´s remix competition, one remix for D.O.N.S. label Kingdome Kome Cuts, and in progress are few new tracks coming soon.
