By the end of the week there will be two plans for comprehensive immigration reform. The president will announce his own initiative mid-week, and today, a bipartisan group of senators will roll out their own plan.
It's from the so-called group of eight, led by Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC). But Florida's Marco Rubio (R) has become the face of this initiative. The rest of the gang of eight is Arizona's other senator Jeff Flake (R), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Robert Menendez (NJ-D), and Michael Bennet (D) of the crucial state of Colorado.
