Oscar is from a DJ background. He began Subculture with Harri and Dominic at The Sub Club in Glasgow. He then created the iconic club night Mish Mash, and for over 12 years performed and hosted at the Arches and The Riverside in Glasgow and in London at 93 Feet East and Cargo. A former resident at Plastic People where he held a series of parties with amongst others, Harvey and Francois Kevorkian.

 He has DJ'd alongside a host of legendary DJ's from Tenaglia to Carl Craig and had the pleasure of the likes of The Juan Maclean play live at his Mish Mash club nights. His final Mish Mash party in London signed off with Oscar Dj'ing alongside the wonderful Aeroplane, Paul Epworth and Zero 7.

Oscar has released records on Soma, Tribal America, 4th and Broadway, and the top 20 hit Speechless on Crosstown Rebels and Ministry of Sound. His musical taste lies in a love of melody with a touch of the night.



Valerie's understanding and love of language is evident throughout the album. She wrote the lyrics on buses in London, taxis in Glasgow and walking by the sea in Los Angeles. Valerie has a natural ear and gift for melody. Her voice triggers emotion and combined with heartfelt lyrics she observes the world in a very clear way.
