FREE DOWNLOAD AT BANDCAMP. LINK BELOW........Formed in the Spring of 2012 with a desire to create some original music, amist the abundance of cover bands in the locality, it was'nt long before 'The Hippy Syndrome' was making themselves heard in the local bars and creating bit of a stirr.
Their music was immediately branded as Grunge/Blues. No wonder as Bassist: Wesley Pollington, Drummer: Simon Kearns and Guitar/Vocalist: Shane Flaherty a.k.a. Fuzz, all had a keen interest in the early ninties Grunge scene as well as the Blues/Rock scene from the sixties and seventies.
With the guts of an album in the air, the trio got themselves into the studio in the autumn of 2012 and recorded twelve songs, Ten of which make up their debut album 'If you have something to say...'.
Shortly after Bassist Wesley Pollington departed for Australia much to the bands loss. 'Wesley is a very progressive bassist, he kinda rumbles on ahead, and Simon and I trundle on behind him' Fuzz mentions in an interview with Connemara Community Radio, ' he will be very hard to replace'
After spending some time mixing the album, the band renamed themselves 'Noah Kitterick and The Sons of Paupers' in honour of the young boys of Letterfrack Industrial School and released the album 'If you have something to say...'.
And old friend and next door neighbour of Fuzz, Mr.Sean Herriot, will be joining the band on Bass and vocals for 2013. A tour of the album is planned for the Spring.. Whoo Hoo!
