Starting in 1997, The Sky Electric was conceived to create music from the broadest possible range of influences. The name is no accident, 'The Sky' - for the wide-open Midwestern sky and the analogy the sky's the limit. 'Electric' since I made music with mostly electronic equipment.
Other than a brief period on mp3.com, The Sky Electric has received no exposure in any form. No record label has ever returned any demo sent out and few people have ever heard the music I make. Thus I continue to not be influenced by any kind of success and create music simply on whatever whim I have at the time.
