I like going on musical adventures, especially rhythmic ones. My current adventure is living in Berlin. Before that I did a Masters in Digital Composition and Performance at Edinburgh University where I explored improvisation, algorithms, sound art installations and the nature of listening. In the past I've toured the bottom-right corner of the world gathering field recordings, making music in beach-front treehouses and jamming with talented folk from all over everywhere. I continue to perform with decks, drums or laptop and sometimes more exotic fare such as bike wheels and wine glasses.

Inspiration splurge: techno, house, dub, reggae, IDM, Latin, afrobeat, jazz, drum & bass, electronica, ambient, drone, post-dubstep, dancing, the great outdoors, malfunctioning machinery, emergent systems, fractals... fade to abstract.
