This is the Refusers album ‘First Do No Harm’ - a collection of sharp-edged protest songs tinged with humor.

Infectious grooves and poignant lyrics in the tradition of the civil rights and anti-war movements.

We transform corporate pharmababble weasel-speak into song lyrics with a cynical attitude. You got a problem with that?

The Refusers are:

Michael Belkin: Songwriter, lead vocals, guitars, pedal steel.

Sebastian Belkin: Our 10 year old groovester funk-rock-reggae drummer.

Steve Newton: Funk/slap bassist extraordinaire, background vocals and movie star (Dr. Strangelove in our Mad Hatter Blues youtube video).

Joey Walbaum: Keyboardist with the goods to groove.
