The Rapids are an unsigned rock band, consisting of four hardworking, ambitious and confident around the age of 20 from the shores of Portsmouth playing their own brand of high energy, catchy riff fueled rock.

They've been named 'one to watch for the future', 'a band that could go places' and 'the next big thing' by local promoters and reviewers. 2011 was a good year for The Rapids, after headlining the legendary Wedgewood Rooms among other great moments, but 2012 is looking to be huge with a spot at Dumbfest already confirmed. They are currently finishing off their debut EP, which will be out late February alongside official merch.
