TheOvercast.net is always looking for new independent music and only features positive reviews. I'm looking for artists with passion, people who are truly enthusiastic and innovative(!!!) about what they're creating. You can check out the site to get a good feel for my style; reviews and interviews are usually pretty lengthy and cerebral. All artists interested in being featured must have at least four songs available online for purchase or download. Genre-wise, I've mainly focused on the indie pop/rock sphere, including baroque pop, electronic pop, indie rock (whatever that means). In the past there's also been some ska and acoustic. I generally don't write about rap, hip-hop, metal, "loud rock," or pop country. This isn't because I hate those styles; I just don't know enough about them to do justice.
