About

Jake Scudder (vocals, guitar, production) and Emma Scudder (vocals, banjo, mandolin, violin, guitar) make up the brother-sister folk duo The Omaha Folk. The band's name originates from the Omaha Folk Song Society, of which their grandfather is a member. Growing up in a musical family influenced by their grandfather's folk songs, Jake and Emma played many different instruments and independently wrote and recorded original songs. They later began recording songs together and formed The Omaha Folk in 2011.
