There's guitar, ebow, and Logic. No amps and stuff. And a synth hidden somewhere in the first part. The chatter in the middle was recorded in a nice little bar in Paris. Enjoy!!

@earthfriend: funny that you say 'clean' guitar, coz it has a ton of effects on it :-) But indeed it's clean in the sense that it actually is guitar, that the effects are moderate. I usually make my guitar sound like something strange synth-like :-) And the fade-out indeed is quite abrupt. Originally a third part immediately took off, but I just ditched it because it didn't work. That's why it stops so abruptly. I'm going to leave it as such, but whenever this will appear on an EP or full album, I'll probably revisit it.

Very interesting track... Starting with a clear guitar, then running into this huge drone and then a single filtered tone is crystalizing. That's nice. :) But I think the ending fade-out is a little but to abrupt. How about fading-out the drone alone first and keeping the single tone a few seconds longer, or just adding some echos of it?

@RedHeron: the melody in the first part is actually normal guitar. In the background, the ambience part, there's a lot of ebow experiments going on though.

@RedHeron: it's a great piece of equipment! Apparantly, it already came on the market in the 70's. You just put it on the strings, there's some magnetism stuff going on which makes the string vibrate out of it's own. It gives a overdriven violin-like sound, but if you experiment and put some effects on it it can give some crazy results. I love it -)
