About
With fiddle, accordion, and dread guitar, our direly romantic trio plays a strange gospel of New Orleans and Country, bitter love songs about Jesus Christ, and Apocalypse songs about bitter love.
Though only 23, (actual) Dr. Blaze Vestibule brings with him a particularly disciplined brand of songwriting, a period appropriate golden voice, and an equally period appropriate blazing guitar. Known around town for his unerringly dapper appearance and his startlingly expert invocations of both Johny Cash and Donald Draper, Dr. Vestibule contributes to the Gun Slingers both more than his fair share of class and a rock solid foundation.
Former Frontman of Radio Freedom, Mr Andrew Mignacca provides the New Gunslingers with their characteristically bellowing mid-range as his distinctively droning accordion evokes alternately church organ, harmonium, and sheng. His uniquely dark way with a minor melody though, invokes invariably the harrowing of a sinner's heart brought before judgment before the lord.
Though like Elliot before him, an intellectual fundamentalist of the New School, no one is entirely certain what to make of front man Adam Souza
or whether he wants you to find him nihilist, or, presumably religious, conservative, or Lucifer, or battle weary soldier, again presumably, in the army of the lord. It's a bit cute, but he suggests you suspect him, mysteriously, of being at least three. While we get his obvious allusions, the question lingers, is this a man whose fiddle makes the sound of a man who has lost or won his contest with the devil or the lord?
