@Anders Isberg: haha, ....sometimes I'll hear some random song somewhere and immediately hear a trio version of it in my head. This often occurs at very inopportune moments when it's impossible to get to a guitar and a computer. :)

@monomo: Thanks a lot. :) ....some of those chord melody-type sections were done with the bass notes tapped up high on the lower strings... the idea is/was to create clusters.....

Wonderful phasing on guitar and the rhythm section is just plain top notch! But I think you know that....

@the Jive Monkey Cartel: Hi, Tory I stared at the picture for almost all of the tune duration and expected a retinal afterburn, but that's not what I got! I just kept seeing the colours cycling through changes and different, not quite in-focus images popping up with the changes. Very cool cover by the way - this is what Cream should have been doing!

Superb, Tory - like the Cream might have done if they'd had a 'proper' jazz guitarist? :)

Fun stuff. Like the jazz take on it. As Jack Bruce said of Cream "It became almost like an Ornette Coleman band, with Eric not knowing he was Ornette Coleman, Ginger and me not telling him."

@the Jive Monkey Cartel: well well ... I dig all the work you do Tory ... shine shine and shine ....... I read about the influences you had from various drummers ... VC is one of my favourites, Peter Erskine another number .. Dennis Chambers ... love his creativity ... but yeah ... Tony Williams is ... sorry ... was a one of the kind and I am positive that some of his work influenced you and it's hidden deep down in the brain memory bank. Just a silly views I have.
