@the Jive Monkey Cartel: I'm with you... Followed Holdsworth since '74 (Tempest). A real pioneer. But you did eat this up. :)

@Groveland Trio: ...well, let's not go too far into that line of thinking, haha...Thanks a lot though. Allan is an incredible musician and musical theorist, really.... definitely a big inspiration to me and many others. I think many of his tunes could become future jazz standards, at least in the fusion domain.

Ah. If it's okay, I would say you just may have beat Holdsworth at his own game here... Is that okay to say? :)

Well, how do ya like that?! Not only is it Holdsworth, which is about as challenging as it gets, but Tory - You made it your own with YOUR tone, YOUR tap... Kudos. I'll spare you and keep this short: Well done!

@the Jive Monkey Cartel: Neither... it's a Duiker! Never heard this tune or Holdsworth before for that matter, but perhaps should soon... great job as always, this really goes places

Thanks, ...such a flattering sentiment. Sorry, this is unrelated, but is that a statue of a seal or a cat?

EXcellent. The pausing chord reminds me of a Steely Dan tune, but can't put my finger on it at the moment.
