@playground mechanicals: oh, I see. Idk, it works sometimes, at least for me. All instruments and mediums are just tools, there's nothing inherently wrong with a tool...... unless we're talking about the human variety, of course....

@playground mechanicals: Not sure what you're talking about.......no midi on this except for the drums, which are controlling acoustic samples... and I'm actually playing the percussion in real time with my hands via a small drum pad..... sort of the same way I play guitar, but different....

I did the guitar as one track / take.... the drums I performed in real time, but in pieces....as a response to the guitar part.... then, ...filled in the low end with the bass.... I always try to think ahead when creating initial pieces...you know, plan for a bass solo here, drum solo there.... that kind of thing....

@sam91music: thanks.... the "lead" and other guitar parts are just one guitar though.... not two tracks... this is one pass.... guitar recorded first, then I played drums over it.... then added the bass......
