British Poverty contains snippets of a speech made by the British Prime Minister David Cameron, he has not given us permission for this, but as we are giving it away for free, who cares! British Poverty also contains a parody of "The Candy Man" by Sammy Davis Jr. which was an idea of Ollie’s mate George "Big George" James. We haven’t got permission for this either, but we thought stating it would be better than saying nothing and hoping no one will notice!
Gay is based on a true story. Both parties have wished to remain anonymous, but have given us there blessing with the song. The trumpet solo in Gay contains a snippet of "I Want to Break Free" by Queen. This was Alex's idea, once again no permission, but how can you turn someone down whose nickname is "The Horn"?!
"CrackHead is also based on a true story. If anyone reading this is in the same situation, or are hooked themselves, please don’t hesitate to seek help from the UK National Drugs helpline (0800 77 66 00) a close friend or family member, or anyone you can! Drugs, especially hard drugs like Crack, are not to be fucked with.
This album contains no auto tune.
The views expressed on this album are mainly Emma’s and Ollie’s, but if anyone is offend by anything you hear on this album you can either A. blame Rob cos he’s Knob Allen so it’s clearly his fault, or B. take a deep breath, count to ten, and stop being so uptight!
This album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Chris "Wallzee" Wallace at the very plush 701 studios in Great Yeldham, Essex. It was recorded in seven days stretched over two months (‘cos Wallzee is a busy man!) and cost a grand total of £200. He’s a good mate of ours so he helped us out! His usual price is £100 per track, but he’s up for negotiating. You can email him at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Jellycats would like to thank...
Keith and Myra for allowing there lovely daughter to travel around the country with a bunch of Essex numpty’s. Shelia Cooper for putting up with Ollie and Stu. Mr and Mrs Allen for letting Rob do his own thing, and the Polak’s, who we’ve yet to meet but will thank anyway! Andy "GaleForce" Gale for his guitar tech skill and incites when we were mixing the album, Andy "Des-Troy" Wheeler for his pumped up roadie worthy guns, Alex Fleetham for his amazing acting skills in the "T-W-A-T" video, Lee "McLovin" Offord (as were told he will cry like a baby if he doesn’t get a shout out) and all the other Braintree ruffians who have supported us! Dave and Naomi Roberts for the soundman skills and generally being there for us. +44Films, TBClub clothing, and all the rest of our friends/family/sisters, and of course, Chris Wallace for making the whole thing possible!!
Feel free to check us out on Facebook, YouTube, and various porn sites (that last one is a lie, Ollie thinks he’s funny...) (This is not a lie, Emma just doesn't want people to know you can find a body of my work on BulletsandBalls.com)
Thanks for listening,
