About

Hello!

The Honey Ants is a songwriting duo and changing set of musicians who perform melody-driven, harmony-laden folk-pop-rock, heavily infused with 1960s influence: we really love The Mamas and Papas, The Zombies, The Beach Boys, and The ever-present Beatles.

If you like melodies and, like us, think there's a distinct lack of them about these days, we think you might enjoy our songs. We try really hard to write songs like they used to. There's room for experiments though, right?

This Soundcloud page has a right old mixture of tracks: brand new studio recordings, home-recordings new and and some very old demos. Most of the really old stuff is up here because it's in our blog (thehoneyants.co.uk/blog), it's nice to talk about where we've been.

Why not have a look at out sets and that'll help you see what's new and what's not, start with the new stuff! Most of the tracks here on Soundcloud can be freely downloaded.

For videos, photos and our blog have a little look at our site: http://thehoneyants.co.uk
