The Cutler is Steve Cobby and Pork.

Cobby is a musician, composer, producer, and occasional DJ, he is also fifty percent of 'Fila Brazillia' (with David McSherry), fifty percent of 'Hey, Rube!' (with Stephen Mallinder), half of 'Chieftain' (with Adam Regan), fifty percent of 'J*S*T*A*R*S' (with Sim Lister), one third of 'Heights of Abraham' (with Sim Lister and Jake Harries), and all of 'The Solid Doctor'. In 1998 Steve Cobby (with David McSherry and Sim Lister) co-founded Twentythree Records.

Porky is resident DJ at 'The Welly' in Hull with 'StopMakingSense' every Saturday night and, along with Steve Cobby, co-founder in 1990 of the revered 'Pork Recordings', a fiercely independent label specialising in 'electronica', and hugely important in the 'Downtempo' arena.
