Summer Soul Sessions Vol. 2 - Mixed by Run ꟼ˙

Last month, we brought London's Dorsh to Brooklyn's PaperBox where he serenaded all the beautiful
women with his feel good RnB and Jazzy Hip Hop vibe; Riot !n Paris rocked out their dope rendition
of Red Hot Chilli Pepper's "Under the Bridge"; and So Super Sam absolutely murdered her mix,
spinning everything from beautiful electro-soul to heavy hitting trap music.

If you liked our June Edition, you'll love this month's Summer Soul Session! This July we're bringing
heavy bass, synth, hi-hats, future Hip Hop, and all the sonic eccentricity that is The Couch Sessions.
Think of a Cutlass and a Lamborghini :)

Headlining Summer Soul July is producer phenom and mystery man XXYYXX. XXYYXX's first release
"About You", which is as visually as it is sonically brilliant (see for yourself below),
rapidly caught our collective ears - from labels to tastemakers, to the blogosphere.
The Couch Sessions is proud to bring XXYYXX to Brooklyn to show us New Yorkers what he has in store.

And we'll also be celebrating the birthdays of Couch Session's own resident old fart Jon 'Law' Heredia
and DJ Danika. Woooo!

Summer Soul will be held between 2pm-12am at The Paper Box NYC
(17 Meadow Street) – Brooklyn’s new independent outdoor/indoor live
music and art complex in Williamsburg BK. 3 blocks off the L Train Grand St.
station.
