The Connects formed in the CU Boulder dorms in 2005. They found a unique sound that is a blend between 80’s pop, electro-funk, and hip hop. They take disco & 80’s pop samples, add hard drums and deep bass; then they lace the beat with chemically induced, lung collapsing flows that give a real social commentary into the complexities of the post college dropout. They have quite the stage presence, dressed like fat old women from 1988. With plenty of adoring female fans - some fat, some ugly...but all hot
