The Bigger Banger Theory is the set of unexplainable rules according to which a “banger” is created. The minds of producers and deejays Sistema, SlimCutz and Taseh, hailing from the internationally unknown but locally vibrant music scene of Porto, Portugal, have converged in order to try and lay on the line just how a “banger” is made, no matter what genre or category of electronic music. They believe the essence, the impulse that will spark a full blast of awesomeness and therefore create a track that is a universe in itself , is hidden somehow in their collection of assorted music equipment. They knew all they really needed to do was to spend hours, weeks, years, trying weird combinations and mixing components with all their gear, like the mad scientists they are. They must have been doing something right so far, as SlimCutz is the portuguese 2009 DMC Champion, Sistema is the DJ for one of the country’s biggest rap acts and Taseh has produced albums for some of the most defying and left field musicians in town.

Now, gathered as a unit, they feel ready to unveil onto the world, I mean, galaxy, the first real results of their attempts
at mastering the secret art of sonically crafting those so sought-after Bangers. They aren’t here to play around, so they took the theory they named and made it their calling card. They will knock your space boots off, I guarantee you that. “The Bigger Banger Theory” is expanding.

As mentes dos produtores e DJs SlimCutz, Taseh e Sistema e do rapper Ace, oriundos da internacionalmente desconhecida mas localmente vi...brante cena musical do Porto, convergiram para tentar definir exactamente o que constitui um "banger. Independentemente do seu género ou categoria musical.

Acreditam que aquilo que procuram está escondido, de alguma forma, no seu espólio musical. O que é que procuram? Aquela faísca que leva à explosão super incrível que é um "Banger".

Passam horas, semanas, anos a experimentar combinações estranhas de sons, tal como os cientistas loucos que são. E certamente que fizeram alguma coisa bem feita até agora.

Senão, vejamos. Dj SlimCutz é bi-campeão do DMC PT. Sistema é DJ de umas das mais populares bandas de rap do país. Taseh produziu álbuns para alguns dos artistas mais inovadores da cidade. Ace é um pioneiro e um dos melhores MCs do país.

Agora, enquanto unidade, sentem-se prontos para revelar ao mundo, ou melhor, à galáxia, os primeiros resultados das suas experiências na arte de talhar sonoramente os tão apetecidos "Bangers".

Eles não estão cá para brincar, por isso pegaram na teoria a que deram nome e fizeram dela o seu cartão de apresentação. Podes crer que até te fazem saltar as botas (espaciais).
