Need a gift for a gifted musician?
Automatom is the musical alter-ego of Thomas Jordan, a multi-genre musician and producer from northern New Hampshire. Drawing from a wide range of musical feeds, he aims for a sonic blend of interweaving guitar and piano, driving electro beats, catchy dance anthems, psychedelic ambient grooves, and rock fusion overtones. Tom works as a studio musician, producing and selling music to internet sources. He is also a performer in multiple groups, with experience in live audio mixing. He also mixes and often collaborates with other performers.
Tom is currently hired professionally as the in-house video and audio designer for a weekly newscast in northern New Hampshire. He provides sound and audio engineering for bands at performance venues around the region. He also writes and sells stock audio loops and sample packages online.
Tom likes to dip into retro styles, with a heavy love affair for the sonic emotions of 1980s and the rocky funk of the 1960s/70s, while at the same time staying ahead of the curve with the newest sounds in music. Influences include Foo Fighters, Green Day, Daft Punk, deadmau5, Boards of Canada, Moby, and classic progressive techno.
