The Analog Affair began in the spring of 2008 in a small college town in Wyoming. Devoid of any activities most people would consider fun (tandem bike-riding, beach volleyball, paper mache night, walking outside without newspapers stuffed into your clothes for insulation), the frozen tundra known as Laramie forces one's self to take up a hobby and discover new passions i.e. making music... When Cody Moser and Evan Baker discovered that they both shared said passion during an intermission of bi-weekly beer pong, The Analog Affair was born. Since then, the brainchild, influenced by the likes of Stars, Straylight Run, Ben Gibbard, Brand New, Dallas Green and Styrofoam, amongst many others, slowly has grown legs and is on it's way to becoming a fully-functioning, developmentally sound, upstanding citizen in underground indie electrodramatic pop (technically not a sub-genre....yet....). To put it plainly, if music is war, then the Analog Affair has become adept at the art of guerilla style music making:

1. Not many people know they exist.
2. They use minimal equipment (2 Macbooks) to produce music for the masses.
3. They operate in two small cells: Cody- Arrangement/ Keyboard/ Guitar- Knoxville, TN (His cover is a post-grad engineering student); Evan- Lyrics, Vocals- Kunming, Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China (He masquerades as a 5th year senior at the University of Wyoming studying Mandarin Chinese language)
4. They go long periods without talking to their families...and I think Cody doesn't shower so much.

They have found themselves at a sort of musical crossroads, ever-striving to improve, evolve, transcend...and discover better superlatives.
