The Allergies (Riddim Fruit Records)

The Allergies is the all-new Funky Beats production/DJ outfit from heavyweight disc jocks Rackabeat (Chai Wallahs) and DJ Moneyshot (Solid Steel/Jalapeno).

The pair blew up at the very start of 2013 after dropping their debut Heartbreaker EP on Riddim Fruit Records. The four-tracker stormed to the top of the Juno singles chart, beating off all-comers across all genres to sit pretty on the number one spot, and play off BBC 1’s Rob Da Bank, and 6 Music’s Craig Charles didn’t hurt its success either.

Live The Allergies have won over crowds, supporting Lazy Habits and DJ Format, and headlining club nights in their native Bristol. Besides raising roofs with their more dancefloor output, the skilled DJs whip up a dope blend of classic Hip Hop, Funk, Soul and Beats back-to-back on two decks.

A new EP is planned for the summer and they are taking bookings for club and festival sets now. The Allergies: Keeping the Funk alive in 2013.
