An ancient city heals its wounds after battle.
My demo track for Sonokinetic's new Delphi library. The library is a collection of female vocals, percussion, spoken phrases and also a harp that are inspired by ancient Greek culture.
Eternal Flame is a subtle, epic track, featuring soaring vocals and emotional strings.

I like the subtle percs and the harmonic support of the vocals with the strings. Great demo Matt, love it.

@The Unfinished: wow you compose, mix and master for 3 hours...I wish I could do that with that speed too...only mastering took me more as I do it analogue...I know about vocals, sometimes I leave also some ethnic vocals I record intact for more pure natural sounding

@sleepwalkerproject: Thanks, and I know exactly what you mean. I have very very accurate pitch in my hearing, so am aware of the issues with the vocals. I decided that as this track is a demo for a library that it would be wrong for me to correct imperfections and leave them intact with their natural authenticity. I do plan to revisit this track in the future to tidy up a few matters (I only had three hours in which to load up the library, write, mix and master the track!). All the best.

Very nice mixture, it has spiritual emotion and ethnic touch. I think you can lower the rhytmic hihats, kind of brake the atmo..also you can play with tunning the vocal, it will sound better..hope that helps
